Those who accept the absurd might make the mistake in thinking that since external value systems are not considered, there are no longer any morals or ethics. They may embrace this dark nihilism, since without a god, there cannot be good or bad.
However, this is a misunderstanding. In reality, without an external moral hierarchy, you alone are responsible for your actions. You cannot act with evil and claim you were following God’s orders or any other excuse. If you harm, that harm is yours. If you create, that creation is yours. All we have in this world is each other and the given moment. With less, each of our actions matters more.
