If too much AI slop and inauthentic content is posted to social media, users will begin to lose trust with the platforms.

For example, while I think there is a place for AI interior design images, I also think most people want to see interior designs that are real.

Killing the trust users have in content being real, user-created content, is an existential threat to the sites/apps as marketing platforms or news sources.
